It is a policy requirement with most (if not all) insurance companies that any vehicle in excess of R150 000.00 in value must be fitted with an SAIA approved tracking device. Sytem must be tested regulary and this is a condition of the policy. Some insurers insist on the active unit on certain makes of vehicles and high valued vehicles.The following is a list of preferred tracking device suppliers:

Matrix MX1: Passive – you call them when car is stolen/hijacked
Matrix MX2:
Matrix MX3: Active – Crash alert, Geolock, no-go zones, internet & logbook
